Local Governing Body (LGB)

As part of a Trust, our Board of Trustees remain accountable for all governance matters.

We also value the work of Local Governing Bodies (LGBs) and within our scheme of delegation, we have specific areas of focus which LGBs provide support and challenge on, focused on educational matters.

LGB members provide local contextual insights and specific skills to ensure our 'One Trust' approach is also carefully tailored to suit the specific needs at Bignold.

All governors complete safeguarding training and read Keeping Children Safe in Education annually. Governors are asked to declare any interests.
